Welcome

Welcome to Chiropractic Southeast

At Chiropractic Southeast, Inc., we employ actual physical chiropractic techniques that are gentle and based on current research.

Our mission is to direct people to the realization that they are activated from within; that life and healing come from within; and ultimately that the maintenance of health is superior to the treatment of disease.

We promise to take all the time that’s necessary to care for you with personal concern and understanding. We listen carefully, avoid unnecessary testing, educate you thoroughly about chiropractic treatment, and are honest about what we can and can’t do.

Meet the Doctors

Two generations of care

Dr. Warren L. Pyne, Jr.

Dr. Warren L. Pyne, Jr.

One of South Coast area’s leading doctors of chiropractic

Dr. Pyne takes the time needed to develop an individualized treatment program for you, first determining the cause of your discomfort before engaging in treatment. He has maintained an aggressive postgraduate educational program that includes completion of a 3 year chiropractic neurology residency program.

“Because I seek to correct the cause, not the effect. Because I know that doctors do not heal, only the body can heal itself.”

Dr. Dylon Pyne

Dr. Dylon Pyne

Specializes in migraines and cluster headaches

Dr. Dylon grew up fascinated by the human body and learned from his father, Dr. Warren Pyne, in the family chiropractic practice. “The more I studied, the more my mission became clear. To find and fix the body at the source.”

“The body is an incredible machine capable of amazing things. But sometimes all it needs is a little help.”

What we treat

Conditions we help with

Services

Consultation, treatment & healing arts

We diagnose and treat a broad range of physical conditions in patients with muscular, nervous, and skeletal problems, especially the spine.

Consultation

Your first visit includes a preliminary consultation, check-up, spinal screening and review of problems: vital signs, reflexes and blood pressure, movement and balance, and palpation of the spine. Diagnostic imaging (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans) may be used depending on your condition.

Adjustments & Manipulation

Addresses subluxations (spinal misalignments) and joint fixations. A subluxation can be the cause of the problem even when imaging tests return negative results.

Decompression / Flexion Distraction

For herniated or bulging discs, using a computerized 3D Active Trac table — helping with preventing unwanted surgery, with an 86% effective rate studied for decompression.

Rehabilitation Programs

A phased approach: spasm and inflammation reduction, corrective exercises, supportive care and wellness maintenance, with customized exercises to take home.

Headache Treatment

Dr. Dylon Pyne specializes in migraines and cluster headaches, particularly those stemming from the upper neck — research suggests 90% of all headaches are caused from the upper neck.

Massage Therapy

Licensed massage therapists combine deep tissue work, trigger point therapy and myofascial release to complement your chiropractic care.

Healing Arts Practitioner

Led by Gretchan, a reiki-certified yoga practitioner, with gentle movement and mindfulness.

Private sessions — individual and semi-private appointments combining yoga, breathwork, reiki and mindful meditation, in 30-minute and 1-hour formats.

Goddess Class — free group classes open to beginners featuring very mild yoga, breath work, postures, reiki and intentions, with donations supporting the Lulu Foundation.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that the nervous system controls the function of every cell, tissue, organ and system of the body. The practice involves locating and correcting areas where vertebrae have lost normal positioning through a procedure called an adjustment.

A subluxation is a misalignment of one or more of the twenty-four vertebrae (spinal bones). These misalignments can impair your body’s capacity to heal itself and function optimally by interfering with the nervous system.

Chiropractic adjustments usually involve a quick thrust that helps add motion to spinal joints that are not moving right. Multiple adjustment methods exist, using hands, instruments, specialized tables, or gravity.

The quantity varies individually based on health objectives. Many patients observe improvement within one to two weeks of frequent visits, with sessions tapering as the spine stabilizes. Chronic conditions may require months for complete recovery.

Chiropractic is regarded as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies available. While risks are minimal, mild post-treatment soreness can occur but typically resolves within 24 hours.

Initial consultations include a thorough examination and spinal screening. Dr. Pyne reviews findings and recommends treatment programs addressing lifestyle factors like diet, exercise, and rest, plus any necessary adjunctive therapies.
